The OMEGA Z drive (Rudder Propeller), is a heavy duty, 360 degrees steerable, compact marine propulsion, unit designed for small to mid-sized work boats, ferries & passenger vessels.The OMEGA Z-drive is available in 105kW (140 HP), model SD1 or in 150kW (200HP), model HD3.

One Easy Package 

Omega Z-Drives combine marine gears and power steering all mounted in a one piece, water tight housing. It replaces conventional marine gears, propeller shafts, stuffing boxes, shaft struts, rudders, rudder stocks, hydraulic steering and above all

the high cost of lining all this up.

Z Drives / rudder propellers offer this in one easily installed package.

Easily Installed – The Omega Z Drive is easily mounted using the unique mounting ring and neoprene seal supplied with the drive. This mounting ring is welded to a steel hull or fabricated into other hull types so the Omega Z-Drive can be simply bolted into place. Maximum Omega Z-Drive protection is provided by two shear pins, mounted on the input couplings where they are easily reached and replaced should the propeller hit bottom or some other obstruction to protect against gear rain damage. A rope cutter flange is also fitted to the lower housing to protect the heavy duty propeller shaft.

Omega Z-Drives / Omega rudder propellers are available in sizes up to 200 hp.
