Channel thrusters have been developed especially for ships sailing in shallow waters and are used for both auxiliary and main propulsion.
Similar operation and functionality to the channel thruster except that the unit is compact and the thrust is divided by a rotatable grid. Available from 75kW to 660kW.
This thruster is ideal for smaller boats and barges requiring greater manoeuvrability and 360° propulsion or steering.
Retractable thruster
Compact 360° thruster with vertical propeller that can be lowered underneath the hull. Available with nozzle and optional as tunnel thruster when retracted.
Vertical propeller thruster for seagoing vessels, available with fixed and controllable pitch propellers.
